Disney and Lucasfilm have made the celebratory day into an opportunity to promote all things Star Wars. This traditionally means promoting Star Wars films, TV shows, and video games. That of course includes Star Wars: Squadrons, one of Electronic Art’s latest releases set in the universe of the famed science fantasy franchise....

Since then a community representative from Bioware posted a number of responses confirming that it is, in fact, the launch portal for the upcoming beta program. He also had this to say: So while he neither confirmed, nor denied the rumor that the countdown is related to the beta, it would appear that this is not the case. If the beta implemented slowly, and in tightly focused groups, it’s unlikely Bioware would arrange such an attention grabbing countdown....

According to a new video from YouTuber BattlefrontUpdates, the embargo has finally lifted on a recent press Q&A that the creator was in attendance for. According to the twelve-minute clip, there will be a range of changes made to Star Wars Battlefront 2’s online mode, as well as a few returning features to be excited about. This time around, gunplay will reportedly be more skill-based, with a deeper learning curve for players to experience....

According to a handful of fans online, EA’s customer portal no longer shows the ‘Request Refund’ button that was present up until yesterday. Although some users claim that this could be because Star Wars Battlefront 2 has launched for EA Access members, the company’s Great Game Guarantee states that titles purchased on Origin can be refuneded within 24 hours of first opening the game, within seven days of purchasing, or within seven days of the game’s release date for pre-orders....

This news likely comes as a surprise to fans of the game, as the date for its next-gen release was originally thought to be much later this month. Fans will hopefully get plenty of new info before then, but pouring over the new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailer will be enough for now. And interestingly enough, Kylo Ren’s influence cannot be ignored....

The announcement came in the form of a short video shared on LEGO’s official Twitter page. The space photo was captured by Donald Pettit, an active NASA astronaut who has traveled to the International Space Station (ISS) on three separate occasions. Pettit, a keen astrophotographer, would use his free time during missions to snap photos of space from inside the station’s cupola—a small glass dome made of seven windows that allows astronauts to observe space and the Earth from orbit. During his last visit to the station in 2012, Pettit set up his Nikon D3s camera in the cupola and left it to take in all the light it could in a 15-minute exposure shot....
