Posted to the Star Wars subreddit by user Elson1988, the piece depicts C-3PO with glowing red eyes, armed with a blaster for an arm. He appears to be going on a rampage accompanied by some other metal friends in a signature Star Wars hallway, where so many characters in the franchise love to wipe out their enemies. It’s an original piece from a few years ago from illustrator and concept artist Anthony Devine, who has done many other pieces of art over the years for Star Wars and other fandom properties....

In addition to the reveal of Star Wars Battlefront 2’s first trailer, the panel at Star Wars Celebration 2017 will feature members of the game’s development team from the three separate Electronic Arts studios of DICE, Criterion, and Motive discussing the title. Beyond the announcement of the reveal trailer, however, EA failed to provide any additional details as to what fans should expect from the title. Although Electronic Arts didn’t address any more details regarding Star Wars Battlefront 2 today, the company has been plenty vocal in the past about what the sequel to the 2015 first-person shooter will contain, as it has been confirmed to have a single-player campaign, as well as content from “multiple eras” within the film franchise’s history....

Not much is known about Star Wars Battlefront 2’s split-screen co-op at this time, but it’s likely that it will have some story implications. Star Wars Battlefront 2’s story follows Imperial soldier Iden Versio, who witnesses the destruction of the second Death Star at the end of Return of the Jedi. Versio then goes on a quest for revenge, which will lead into the events of the ongoing sequel trilogy....

The development team promised that the first gameplay trailer would break the internet and the hyperbole hasn’t slowed down since then. The in-engine rendered cinematic and gameplay trailers have all been fantastic and fans of the Star Wars franchise haven’t been disappointed. That said, the first reveal of the Star Wars Battlefront’s Fighter Squadron mode is guaranteed to bring out the fanboy or fangirl in everyone far more than any of the previous trailers have....

Respawn’s Brand Strategy Director, Charlie Houser, has discussed the future of the series. Houser simply answered “yes” when asked whether the developer would be interested in continuing the franchise. Houser later expanded on his answer, explaining that the team had a “blast” making the game and that its future was dependant on its reception. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has certainly had a positive reception and it looks like the game could provide EA with some much needed positive press....

Star Wars also seems to be heading down this path, as the shows have gained just as much importance as the main films themselves in terms of understanding Star Wars lore. Fans concerned that the tabletop game will not be faithful to the Stardew Valley video game should find many of their fears alleviated by the fact that the game is published by Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone himself.
