Star Wars 1313 is not the only Star Wars title to fall under the axe in recent months. A game based on Darth Maul was also cancelled after eight months in development, with alleged turmoil between LucasArts and developer Red Fly. Another casualty was Star Wars: Attack Squadrons, which was given the chop by Disney shortly after the completion of a closed beta. It may not have been much of a loss, though - the browser-based space combat title was looking less than impressive....

Reddit user lowberg posted to the Star Wars Battlefront 2 online forums yesterday, announcing their creation of a ‘Progression Droid’ to farm for credits “while simultaneously building a sense of pride and accomplishment.” The handy little robot does just enough to ensure that the user doesn’t get kicked from games, while slowly racking up a significant amount of credits over time. Of course, if more players use a similar approach it will only ruin the Star Wars Battlefront 2 experience for other users, but right now the Reddit poster sees it as a small act of defiance towards a company that is currently generating a lot of hate from the gaming community....

It seems like there could be a new dawn for the galaxy far, far away soon across all mediums. Still, many are cautious about some projects after the sequel trilogy, with the last two films dividing a fanbase that is divided any further. And yet, as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order gets prepared for its sequel, it seems clear that it should effectively be “The Last Jedi” of its franchise....

However, EA has already come forward to reassure fans of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It claims that there’ll be more EA Star Wars games in the future, which means odds are good that Fallen Order 2 will show up someday. As indicated in its statement, EA is no stranger to collaborating with Lucasfilm on Star Wars projects. There’s probably going to be a lot more collaboration in the future if Lucasfilm Games is starting to take a more hands-on role, but Fallen Order 2 won’t be waylaid by that new connection....

On the planet of Kashyyk, there is a sequence that see protagonist Cal Kestis thrust into a war between native Wookies, freedom fighters, and the Empire. The rebels have won some small battles and the remaining Storm Troopers are concerned for their well-being....
