RELATED: Star Wars: Important Characters Who Never Appear In The Movies

Cassian Andor, an interesting character for the Star Wars mythos, is among this cast of rebels for his grit and realism in a fascist galaxy. Cassian Andor has his own Disney Plus show, which will serve as a prequel to Rogue One and hopefully answer some questions that fans will want about the character’s past.

9 How Did Cassian Find K-2SO?

Thanks to the performance from Alan Tudyk, K-2SO became a fan favorite character and droid from the Star Wars galaxy. This character was a KX-series security droid and was modified to serve the Alliance, rather than the Empire. The droid’s design is rather unique, and lanky, and the character had a fun banter relationship with Cassian Andor.

The appearance of Cassian and K-2SO leaves many questions, as fans of Rogue One don’t know how or where Cassian found K-2SO. Hopefully, K-2SO appears in Star Wars: Andor for Disney Plus, so fans can have many entertaining scenes of the two, and discover the origin of their friendship.

8 Where Was Cassian When He Was Six Years Old?

Star Wars: Andor could have further ties to the prequel era of Star Wars content. This is due to a notable line in Rogue One, where a conversation between Cassian and Jyn Erso gets heated, and Cassian states “I’ve been in this fight since I was six years old.” However, the Empire would not have been around when Cassian was six, so perhaps he was battling Separatists or the Galactic Republic.

The line leaves many questions as to what Cassian was doing when he was six years old, and perhaps Star Wars: Andor will delve into the past, not only in his early years as part of the Rebellion, but as a child, fighting for survival and showing what made him the way he is today.

7 How Integral Was Mon Mothma?

Another fun surprise from the Andor trailers was the announcement of Mon Mothma. This character was a politician who served as a representative of Chandrila for both the Galactic and Imperial Senate. However, she was also integral to overthrowing Palpatine, by helping the formation of the Republic to put an end to the Empire and the war.

It’s already known that Mon Mothma helped plant the seeds of rebellion across the galaxy, thanks to powerful allies like Bail Organa. However, it is unknown just how secret a role she plays, as if the Empire discovered her treacherous acts, she would not have remained in political power for so long.

6 What Turned Cassian Against The Empire?

Although on the surface, the Empire has inherently political meanings for the real world, it’s understandable for some factions of the Star Wars galaxy to be just fine with the Empire. Many characters across the franchise have no quarrel with the Empire, and some even serve them for some time. What fans await to see, is how Andor will break free from the galactic oppression, and join the fight against them.

Considering Cassian was against the Galactic Republic as a child, many fans are curious as to what makes him hate the Empire. Everyone in the series has their specific reasons, and to see Cassian’s motivation would make for a compelling display.

5 What Goes On In The Empire?

Andor is the audience’s best look at the Empire yet. The Disney Plus series won’t only focus on Cassian Andor before the events of Rogue One, but will also follow the Empire as they attempt to thwart any rebellions that arise throughout the years of the Empire’s formation.

In the trailers, audiences have already seen many famed actors playing Imperial officers in the Empire. This begs the question of just what the Empire does, a look inward at how they view the galaxy, and what they do to maintain control.

4 How Deep Of A Myth Is Darth Vader?

As one of the most famed aspects of Star Wars, and all of fiction, Darth Vader is one of the most popular characters to exist. However, despite the real-life fame of Darth Vader, in the Star Wars canon, he is somewhat of a myth, an urban legend. Vader is a boogeyman, kept under wraps for secret Jedi hunting missions from the Emperor himself.

There are so many iconic scenes involving Darth Vader and his fight against rebels. It’s doubtful that Vader will appear in Andor, but Star Wars is known for its surprises. Even a mention would tickle the itch of many die-hard Star Wars fans.

3 When Were Clone Troopers Phased Out?

Since Star Wars: Andor is a prequel to the original Star Wars trilogy, it’s no surprise that clone troopers make an appearance. However, as the prequel content continues to expand and explore the galaxy far, far away, audiences discover the sad history of the clones, and how they were phased out of the Empire.

Audiences are hopeful that Cassian Andor will encounter clone troopers, but considering that Star Wars: The Clone Wars gives clones individual personalities, die-hard fans aren’t ready to see what remains of the clones die, considering the cloning procedures have been disbanded. Star Wars: Andor could further explain the removal of clones from the Star Wars universe.

2 What Role Does Bail Organa Play?

Jimmy Smits is set to reprise his role as Bail Organa in Star Wars: Andor, and with it, many questions may arise about his relationships with other important Star Wars characters, and the role he plays in the early years of the rebellion. It’s well known that ten years after the fall of the Jedi, Bail Organa requested the help of Obi-Wan Kenobi to save Leia Organa in Disney Plus’ Obi-Wan Kenobi.

It will be interesting to see if the timeline matches up and to see if Star Wars: Andor will reference the fact that Leia Organa has been kidnapped, and the response Bail Organa will have in his public image, and to the Rebellion.

1 How Proud Is Emperor Palpatine’s Rule?

With the Galactic Republic demolished, and the Jedi Order completely wiped out, Emperor Palpatine had fulfilled the wish of the Sith, and once more, they ruled the galaxy. As the Emperor, Palpatine, AKA Darth Sidious, had absolute control and power over every planet and person within the galaxy. It begs the question of what Emperor Palpatine did during the Empire’s reign.

The Emperor had a mighty force for almost two decades, and with Star Wars: Andor following the timeline of the Empire, many may wonder how proud Palpatine’s rule was, just how well known he was throughout the galaxy, and what role he may play in the show.
