RELATED: Star Wars Battlefront 2: Best Star Cards
After dozens of updates and expansions, Star WarsBattlefront II is a completely different game in 2021. Dice’s herculean effort to save a broken game at launch resulted in an amazing game and online experience. With the star card combinations and heroes listed below, players will dominate the battlefront.
10 Star Cards: Recharge Command And Disruption
The disruption star card will overheat enemy blasters and force enemies to cool their weapons down. To frustrate enemies even further, the recharge command star card will allow players to use the effects of disruption twice. Enemies that are forced to cooldown their blasters twice will not survive for very long on the battlefront. Recharge command paired with disruption may be one of the most annoying combinations to fight against, but the cards are incredibly effective.
9 Hero: Leia
Dice did a great job updating and buffing Leia. She was neglected for two years and Dice buffed both her grenade, shield, and blaster. Updates to Leia, as well as the other heroes and villains, helped to resurrect the floundering Battlefront franchise. At one point, Leia was the weakest blaster hero and now she is one of the best. Her blaster may be the strongest of all the heroes, and she is usable in almost every mode. While there are a few easy counters to her abilities, she is an underrated hero players need to try.
8 Star Cards: Recharge Vanguard And Smart Ion Grenade
If players get a kill with the smart ion grenade, they can get an additional grenade with recharge vanguard. The star card combination is extremely useful in matches where players need to take down enemy vehicles. Having an extra grenade is also useful when clearing doorways and hallways that are congested. If players can successfully get multiple grenade kills, they can go on a significant kill streak with the recharge and ion combination.
7 Hero: Finn
Finn is a situational hero, but in the right scenario, he will completely obliterate enemy teams. By using correct star cards, Finn can give everyone around him damage reduction and instant ability recharge. Finn can also help players secure the win during the last stage of galactic assault.

In choke points, Finn is unstoppable and players will be pleasantly surprised by how amazing he is against infantry. The effectiveness of Finn hinges on the coordination of teams, and if players do not have reliable teammates, his abilities will not be nearly as useful.
6 Star Cards: Defender And Bodyguard
The defender and bodyguard cards are perfect for players that want to be tanks on the battlefront. The bodyguard star card will help players survive longer with increased heath, and the defender card will give players more battle points for damage sustained. Heavy infantry players will have no trouble winning one on one gunfights with the tank combination, and most players will have no problem getting enough battle points for a hero. There is no downside to using the star card combination, and players that enjoy playing as a heavy will love the class setup.
5 Hero: Obi-Wan
Obi-Wan is a survivalist. He has great defensive stamina and can excel in every mode, including hero mode. Players will suffer from slightly lower attack damage, but his damage reduction ability and defensive stamina make up for it. Obi-Wan is a reliable option for players that want to use a hero as long as possible. The hero’s defensive prowess will allow players to stay in the fight longer than many other heroes. Skilled players can outduel any villain with Obi-Wan, and he is one of the most forgiving heroes in Battlefront II.
4 Star Cards: Stealth And Brawler
Players that enjoy using the specialist should give the two hit melee star card combination a try. The stealth perk will give players additional melee damage, and enemies will be killed with just two hits. By equipping the brawler card, players will immediately recharge their stealth ability after every kill.

If players use the personal shield as well, they do not even have to fire their blaster to take over a match. Players can get dozens of kills using the combination, which is a lot of fun to use on smaller maps and modes.
3 Hero: Rey
Rey is a very strong hero despite being the worst of the lightsaber heroes. Rey has very good offensive stamina and is great in infantry and other large scale modes. Insight and dash strike are powerful abilities if used correctly against infantry. However, in a lightsaber battle, similar skilled players will best her on most occasions. Rey also suffers from not having an attack that can damage enemies through a block. Regardless, she is an underrated hero that players will enjoy using in the game.
2 Star Cards: Assault Training And Toughen Up
By combining assault training and toughen up, players will always have enough health to stay in gunfights. Assault training will give players 40 health for every enemy that is defeated. Additionally, the toughen up star card gives players health regeneration, and the ability recharges after 22 seconds. The assault and toughen up combination is a great option for players that push into enemy objectives and spawns. Players must give the combination a try, as it is one of the best in the game.
1 Hero: BB8
BB8 is probably the most underrated hero. The small droid has an extremely strong cable spin and rolling charge. Players can get high multi kill streaks using BB8’s cable spin in choke points on the map. Against most villains, BB8 can hold his own and is a tough target to hit. It would be difficult to rank BB8 above any of the lightsaber heroes, but the droid is a very solid hero for players in essentially every game mode. Many infantry players will not even see the diminutive BB8 before he takes them out with a single charge.
