During a match, players can also become popular characters from the movies such as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker when they save up enough points. It can sometimes be rare for players to earn this privilege, so here is a great way to make the most of player’s time as these characters.
RELATED: Is Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Canon?
Boba Fett: Boba Fett is incredibly agile and can be hard to target, so choosing the Blaster Disabler is a great way to avoid being hit while flying in the air. Also, equipping the Anti-Hero Rockets and Intense Barrage will give the player’s a higher advantage against lightsaber characters.
Darth Vader: Darth Maul isn’t as fast as Boba Fett, but he can tank a much higher amount of damage. Equipping Bonus Health makes him even harder to kill by withstanding more hits. Combining that with Punishing Grip and Last Gasp will prove to be deadly.
Luke Skywalker: Luke also isn’t quick just like his father, but he has a high resistance to blaster fire. Equipping the Jedi Fighter, Deflection Mastery, and the Stronger Push is a great way to trim the numbers from the opposing team.
Chewbacca: Chewbacca’s Bowcaster is an incredibly powerful weapon. If players get their hands on the Furious Bowcaster ability, equip it with Echoing Roar, Furious Resilience, and the Bonus Health Card to get better use out of that ability.
Han Solo: Han may not attack as fast, but he deals with an insane amount of damage per shot. Players should use the Heavily Modified Blaster, Sharpshooter’s Calm, and Sharpshooting Frenzy to increase the amount of time Han will be able to shoot.
Iden Versio: What this character lacks in powers, she makes up for in gadgets. Using the Cooled Blaster, Pulse Cannon Mastery, and Alternative Methods will make her a versatile opponent while also helping out the rest of the team.
Lando Calrissian: In comparison to other character abilities, Lando leaves much to be desired. However, utilizing Maximized Efficiency, Wide Eyed, and Hot and Cold with the Sharp Shot ability helps create an excellent character to rush into a group of enemies.
Bossk: While a bit of a lesser-known character, his Predator Instincts ability is a great way to hunt down enemies. Using the Ultimate Predator, Predator Resilience, and Unrelenting Predator cards help extend his ability and make him a force to be reckoned.
Kylo Ren: As one of the more popular choices of characters for villains, Kylo Ren’s freeze power is great to use with the Solid Freeze, Total Control, and Bloodlust cards. These cards him a strong character for quickly dispatching large groups of enemies.
Leia Organa: As one of the few hero characters to prioritize defense over attack, High Spirit paired up with Rebel Heart and Relentless Firing makes her harder for enemies to take out.
Yoda: Yoda is arguably one of the hardest characters to fight against; he is swift, can heal himself, and he can deal substantial damage. Equipping him with the Jedi Mentor, Enduring Presence, and the Feel the Force cards will make him nearly impossible to beat.
Rey: Many of Rey’s abilities are more helpful in supporting other characters. Using the Street Fighter, Opportunist, and Strong Mind cards help give her a very balanced build and last longer to help others.
Darth Maul: Darth Maul is fast and might be hard for new users to grow accustomed to. Using the Lightsaber Defense, Frantic Strikes, and Forceful Thrust will help ease new players into his crazy acrobatic moves.
Emperor Palpatine: Palpatine is another excellent choice for a crowd control character. By equipping Lightning Absorption, Prime Electrocution, and Lightning Reach will make his lightning attacks effective against groups of enemies.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is a sequel to the original game that came out in 2015 that was developed by EA DICE. It’s a massive online game where players can fight against each other in settings taken straight from the Star Wars Universe.
Hopefully, with the changes to Battlefront 2 and the title being a PS Plus game, this list can help players think critically about character usage and win them some matches.
