According to Electronic Arts, the Assault on Theed is not only set to be an absolutely massive fight, but also it should feature a slew of N-1 Starfighters and Vulture Droids in the skies, AT-RT Walkers in pursuance by AATs, and Clone Jet Troopers hopping from rooftop to rooftop with B2 Super Battle Droids causing absolute destruction in the once-peaceful city of Naboo. Not to mention, the Star Wars Battlefront 2 gameplay will also highlight a swarm Clones and Droids at war with one another while Darth Maul and Rey supposedly do battle with lightsabers.

For those unaware, the Assault on Theed is from the science fiction film franchise’s prequel trilogy, and Star Wars Battlefront 2 is going to do its best to recreate its sheer scale and intensity with Clone Troopers mounting a defense against the invading forces of the Separatist Battle Droids. In order to bring the gameplay to life, Electronic Arts is enlisting the help of YouTubers and Twitch streamers such as JackFrags, Darkness429, StoneMountain64, and Neebs Gaming to go hands-on in two teams of 20 for the livestream during EA Play.

As of now, all that DICE and Electronic Arts have shown of Star Wars Battlefront 2 in an official capacity has been its reveal trailer from a couple of months ago. However, that hasn’t stopped some dedicated leakers from providing fans of the franchise with additional glimpses at the title, as a recent piece of footage cropped up online to show off a brief bit of gameplay detailing protagonist Iden Versio’s companion droid and Emperor Palpatine’s Sentinel.

All things considered, one can only hope that the gameplay being shown during the Electronic Arts’ livestream at E3 2017 will go off without a hitch and truly provide fans with an in-depth look at an actual immense, immersive world with little constraints. With any luck, the company will also take some time out to share some footage of one of the title’s most coveted features – its single-player campaign.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is set to launch on November 17, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
