Star Wars Battlefront is easily one of the most anticipated games of the year, and the hype for it has been building ever since its exciting E3 2013 teaser trailer. The wait for the game since then has been rough, but fans don’t have to wait until the game’s November release to get their hands on it, thanks to the game’s open beta.
The open beta for Star Wars Battlefront launched yesterday across multiple platforms, giving players a chance to test out some of the game’s components before its official release in November. This has included the new Drop Zone multiplayer mode as well as the game’s split-screen missions, allowing players to dabble in a relatively wide range of the activities Star Wars Battlefront is bringing to the table.
The Star Wars Battlefront beta also allows players to utilize the special “Hero” and “Villain” character types in battle. Speculation has been running rampant as to which iconic characters from the films will be making their way into the final game, but the beta only allows players to use Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. We know that Boba Fett is also confirmed, and data mining revealed that Han Solo is in the game as well, but in the meantime, how you are enjoying playing as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker?
