A big part of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is tracking down various collectibles—most often found in Chests—including new outfits, Lightsaber parts and upgrades to BD-1’s stim healing system. But uncovering secrets and opening Chests in Fallen Order is about more than improving Kestis as Jedi; you can also unlock new paint jobs and other cosmetic upgrades for the Mantis to make it a little more like home. One of the collectibles you’ll discover early on are seeds for populating the terrarium in your ship’s galley. But it’s only late in the game, once you’ve acquired the Force push ability, that you can unlock something even better: a bogling stowaway who can travel with you to other worlds.
How To Find The Bogling Companion on Bogano
As long as you know what you’re looking for, finding the bogling companion is easy. Just adjacent to the Mantis’ Bogano landing site—near where Cere is standing—a spiral ramp goes down into the interior of the plateau.
Here you’ll find a metal cage with a Zeffo-like rolling artifact inside. Use the Force to push the Zeffo ball into the slot to unlock a new Stim Canister for BD-1. But you’re not here for Stim Canisters. At the back of the cavern there’s a metal barrier, which can be folded back and opened using Force push. Inside you’ll find a shivering, terrified bogling which BD-1 can scan.
“You’ve gained a bogling stowaway!” Jedi: Fallen Order will inform you. “Look around the Mantis to catch a glimpse of your new friend.”
The most important bit here is “look around,” because your little stowaway makes himself quite scarce. After failing to spot him during two spaceflights, the pilot Greez started complaining about missing food and strange smells. Still, I failed to spot my bogling friend.
Cranking up the brightness can help in tracking down your bogling companion, who sometimes appears behind shipboard grates to chirp at you. One common location is just above and to the right of the Mantis’ terrarium. He can also be spotted hiding beneath the holotable projecting your planetary destinations.
While boglings behave like skittish prairie dogs, diving in their hole if you get too close, there’s also evidence of their bravery and curiosity to be uncovered on Bogano. Sometimes you’ll even spot one watching you through its inquisitive eyes from a ridgeline above. Several Force Echoes also testify to bogling courage, with Kestis uncovering signs of boglings fighting back against giant, frog-like oggdos or defending their nests against the insectoid splox.
