The teaser poster provides at first look at what Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order might actually look like, even though it’s a painterly piece of art rather than an in-game screenshot. The art shows Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Padawan protagonist wielding a lightsaber standing in the foreground on a snowy planet, a wrecked spaceship in the distance. Several Imperial starfighters can be seen flying above.
The young Padawan in the foreground, wielding a blue Jedi lightsaber, is escaping from the Empire following the events of Star Wars 3: Revenge of the Sith. They’ve either crash-landed on this frozen planet, or the Empire has followed another ship to this location. Either way, the Empire has arrived and the young Jedi is under threat.
A full unveiling of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is planned for the Star Wars Celebration on Saturday starting at 11:30 am Pacific. The event will hopefully introduce us to the Padawan protagonist and the frozen world, as well as gameplay details like the Padawan’s little drone scanner friend. Excitement for Respawn’s single-player Star Wars game is reaching a peak. Hopefully, the Titanfall developer delivers something special.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is planned for release holiday 2019.
