Diehard fans can also get their hands on an exclusive Challenger Jacket signed by Luke Skywalker himself, actor Mark Hamill. The Star Wars Force Edition Challenger Jacket, includes an autograph from the actor as well as the message “May the Force be with you” and costs $900, comes with a certificate of authenticity, and is non-returnable. There are only 25 jackets available in select stores on December 6, 2019, with all proceeds funding academic scholarships and programs selected by Hamill. The selected shops are Seattle, New York City, Portland (Oregon), Disney Springs and Mall of America (Minnesota).
The release of this merchandise comes just before the release of the last installment in the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and the release of Disney+ show The Mandalorian. Fans across America have already been using the force to try and lock down plushies of their new favorite character for the series, Baby Yoda, also referred to as the Child.
The regular special edition jackets combine an “iconic Columbia design with intricate Star Wars detailing.”
The Light Side jacket lining features a lightsaber schematic print—including the unique kyber crystal that powers each sword—and colors modeled from the Star Wars archives. It also includes Luke Skywalker’s vehicle ID, “T-65” for his X-wing Starfighter, inside the mesh sleeve pocket and the lettering “May The Force Be With You” on the interior storm flap. Other fan features include a Rebel Alliance chest patch and Aurebesh messaging.
For the Siths in America, the lining features an Imperial chest patch, Darth Vader’s vehicle ID, “DS-1” for the Death Star, inside the mesh sleeve pocket with the lettering “You Underestimate The Power of The Dark Side” on the interior storm flap.

Both jackets feature an Omni-Tech™ waterproof-breathable shell and synthetic insulation built to keep wet out and warmth in, a mesh sleeve pocket, zip hand pockets, kangaroo pouch, side-entry zip, adjustable hood, cuffs and hem.
Retailing at $200, customers can only have one jacket per transaction. Also, it cannot be combined with any other promotion.
