How to Get to Kazdan Paratus
The path to Kazdan Paratus on Raxus Prime is much longer than the previous levels in the game. Players come across a wide variety of scrap enemies, and they should be aware that these enemies are a bit stronger than the stormtroopers and rebels encountered in other levels.
The Jedi Kazdan Paratus is located at the end of this level, and players need to make their way through a pair of mini-bosses in the form of massive junk beasts. On top of this, after confronting an NPC earlier in the level, players will have to defeat this character as well. Fortunately, while some fights are a bit of a challenge (especially with this version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed’s motion controls), the path to this boss is quite linear.
How to Defeat Kazdan Paratus Phase 1
As with the path to this boss, the fight against Kazdan Paratus is different from other versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The entirety of the first phase of this fight takes place with the Jedi within a giant suit made of junk.
There are a few attacks that need to be avoided because of their stagger effect. While standing close to this giant, players need to watch for either foot rising as it leads to a brutal stomping attack.
Aside from this, Kazdan also swings his large weapon at the player which can be avoided if players double jump up and over. Damage can be dealt right afterward and especially from behind. After enough damage is dealt, players will be prompted with a series of quick-time events in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It will take a few of these series of button prompts, but eventually, this suit will collapse, bringing players to the next phase of the fight.
How to Defeat Kazdan Paratus Phase 2
Without the large suit, Kazdan’s second phase is arguably easier than the first. Left on just his long but thin robotic arms, players can now rely on the Force to grab and toss this Jedi across the map, dealing decent damage. However, it is important to keep up a strong defensive front with Starkiller’s lightsaber in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, as Kazdan will rush in and swing their blade wildly.
Another useful skill to use in this phase of the fight is Force Lightning which should paralyze Kazdan for a short period of time and deal damage. Combining lightning attacks, lightsaber attacks, and Force throws will eventually push Kazdan to his limit, and players can deliver the final blow.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is available on PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Switch.
