Bioware, the Jedi-Masters of storytelling in gaming, have revealed a portion of a world that will be featured in the upcoming MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Taris, now a post-apocalyptic swamp, was home to a large civilization that was torn asunder by the Sith Lord, Darth Malak, while he attempted to eliminate the Jedi Knight Bastila Shan. In the MMORPG, The Republic is in the process of rebuilding Taris and facilitating colonization of the planet.
The Empire will, of course, be attempting to prevent the Republic achieving such a feat.
The anticipation for this MMO gains ground with every piece of information released.
I can’t wait to explore the world and story Bioware has prepared for Star Wars fans. Until its release, we all will have to use these revelations to temporarily quench our thirst for justice… or the dark side.
