One of the available bachelorettes that players can pursue in Stardew Valley is Abigail. For the uninitiated, Abigail is the daughter of Pierre and Caroline, who owns the town’s general store. She is defined by her purple hair and pleasant attitude.

Much like other games similar to Stardew Valley, pursuing a villager for marriage is no easy task. Players would have to invest the time and effort and know everything about the villager they wish to marry to give them the right gifts to boost their heart level. Here is a breakdown of her regular schedule, her likes and dislikes, heart events, and what married life is like with her for players pursuing Abigail.

Abigail’s Regular Schedule For Every Season

All villagers in Stardew Valley would have their routines and favorite places to go to. Given that time is valuable and goes by fast in the game, players should be familiar with the schedule of the character they wish to marry to maximize time and energy. Every so often, Abigail can be found at Pierre’s General Store, which is close to the player’s farm, making it easy to visit her every day. However, Abigail also likes to go on adventures, and depending on the season, players may find her on the beach or in the forest near the Wizard’s tower.

What Gifts Abigail Loves, Likes, Dislikes, and Hates

Although players are not required to give any villagers gifts to raise their heart level, giving them items that they love would significantly boost their affection towards the player. This speeds up the process of winning their love. Alternatively, giving them items they hate would also impact their heart level, so players should be well aware of what Abigail likes and dislikes. Overall, Abigail loves certain minerals such as Quartz and Amethyst, so players should always be on the lookout for those.

Heart Events

The level of closeness the players have to Abigail is represented by heart levels. Reaching a certain heart level would trigger an event that would let players know more about her and her real personality that she doesn’t often show with the rest of the villagers of Pelican Town.

Two Hearts - players must enter Pierre’s General Store any day except Sunday Four Hearts - players must visit the mountain between noon and 7 PM on a rainy day except in Winter Six Hearts - players must enter Pelican Town from any direction between 9 PM and midnight on a clear day Eight Hearts - Players should receive a letter from Abigail. After reading it, players must enter Pierre’s General Store between 8 PM and 10 PM when she’s not around. Ten Hearts - After giving Abigail a bouquet, players must enter the mines or the Quarry Mine between 5 PM and midnight. The event won’t trigger once Mermaid’s Pendant is given.

What Happens After You Marry Abigail

Similar to other bachelors and bachelorettes, players would first need to reach a heart level of 8 with Abigail. It is worth mentioning that once players reach a heart level of 8 with any bachelor or bachelorette, the friendship level will freeze. The only way to unfreeze this is to give them a bouquet, which will be immediately available at Pierre’s the morning after a heart level of 8 is reached.

Once players reach level 10 with Abigail, they are now eligible to marry, granted that players had given her a Mermaid’s Pendant. The pendant can be purchased for 5,000 g from the Old Mariner. Once married, Abigail will proceed to move into the farmhouse and set up her own room to the bedroom’s right. She will also claim a small area behind the farmhouse where she will practice her flute.

When Abigail stays inside the farmhouse, she may offer players a Cherry Bomb, a Bomb, Fried  Mushroom, or Crab Cakes. In addition, Abigail may give players Solar Essence, Bat Wing, Void Essence, Amethyst, or Fire Quartz on rainy days. Lastly, Abigail may give offer players Parsnip Soup Tom Kha Soup, Trout Soup, Chowder, or Lobster Bisque on rainy nights.
