Stardew Valley is one of the most successful low-budget games of all time. While the title has a gameplay loop that allows for replayability that keeps players coming back for more, a lot of the triumph of the Stardew Valley is in its charm. Whether it be the art design, the seasons, the characters, or just the small-town vibe, Stardew Valley has become a very popular indie-developed title partially thanks to a perfect blend of these elements. But one fan decided to shake up the formula by adding the evil anthropomorphic ape Mojo Jojo from The Powerpuff Girls.

The shopping mart in Stardew Valley is named JojaMart, which is very close to the name of the main villain of the classic animated Cartoon Network show. So Reddit user u/KatPaintsStuff thought it would be a good idea to change the name of the store to MOJO JOJO MART instead, and they uploaded an image to r/StardewValley online. Along with the new mart name, the user also included a comical text exchange of Mojo Jojo attempting to hide his evil plan, which seems to include his employees doing tasks for him while on the clock.
Stardew Valley’s creator is now working on an entirely new game, so fans may have to step up and create edits and mods to keep Stardew Valley going in creative ways. ConcernedApe has teased off and on how much he will continue to create content for his massive hit farming simulator with Stardew Valley. But it is fair to assume that the next title will take the majority of his attention once development really gets going.
Stardew Valley truly feels like it set the blueprint for the genre moving forward, making it feel nearly impossible for any other game to keep up. That is partially why so many fans love to use Stardew Valley as a canvas for creativity with silly ideas such as Mojo Jojo taking over the mart in town. It will certainly be interesting to see if other games can compete with Stardew Valley, and it is equally fun to see fans continue to be artistic and creative with the farming simulator role-playing game.
Stardew Valley is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
