RELATED: Stardew Valley: How To Get Every Obelisk
Out of the 7 possible farm maps, the Hill-Top Farm is the best suited for mining, therefore Stardew Valley players wishing to harvest the most Stones, Ore nodes, and Geode nodes should choose this place to begin their time in Pelican Town.
Everything You Need To Know About The Hill-Top Farm Map
Mining Potential Of The Hill-Top Farm Map
Firstly, the most notable feature of this map is the availability of mining resources that the player can harvest at their leisure. In the southwest part of this map, there will be a raised bit of land with many Stones and nodes to mine. Each time that this small plateau is cleared of objects, it will respawn between 7 to 13 new Stones and nodes every 4 days. On occasion, an obstacle will spawn on the stairway entrance, such as a Large Stump, a Large Log, or a Boulder, meaning that players will sometimes need specific tools to clear their prime mining area.
Farming Potential Of The Hill-Top Farm Map
There are quite a number of ledges and water tiles on this map thanks to the many cliffs and the creek adorning the area, however, there is still a lot of tillable land tiles for farming as well as a decent number of non-tillable yet buildable tiles.
Number of tillable tiles: 1,648 Number of non-tillable but buildable tiles: 930
Fishing Potential Of The Hill-Top Farm Map
While fishing is very much possible here thanks to the creek running through the farmlands, this body of running water does not offer the greatest odds of catching something good. There is a 50-50 chance between catching an actual fish and trash, so players looking for waterborne goods should bring some patience along with some bait. The fish that are catchable here are the same as the ones that are catchable in Cindersap Forest’s river tiles. This means that the fish available on the Hill-Top Farm are mostly Chub and Dorado.
